Membership

Absolutely! We have members from all over the world. Our workshops are streamed live on Zoom so everyone can take part.

Full members receive six full-colour glossy magazines delivered to your door every other month, whereas digital members receive these in digital form only. See full benefits here: https://members.youngmagiciansclub.co.uk/Cms/Spaces/PUBLIC/Membership+prices

No – everyone is welcome!

Workshops are only available to registered members, however we’re sure you’ll love them!

Safe Guarding

We always have multiple qualified first aiders on site during workshops.

Please find our privacy policy here: https://members.youngmagiciansclub.co.uk/PrivacyPolicy

All members of the YMC team are DBS-checked. On workshop days, all parents and guardians are required to leave after registration.

Workshops

Workshops take place at The Magic Circle Headquarters in Euston, London. We meet once a month (except August and December).

A typical workshop follows this schedule.

Registration

  • Member of the Month – A chance for members to perform and compete in a friendly competition.

Lunch

  • Lectures – Professional members of The Magic Circle will lead hands-on workshops and talks.
  • Prizes and Q&A – Competition and raffle prizes followed by a Q&A with the team and the lecturers.

Due to safeguarding, we do ask parents and guardians to leave after registration, however we have a great workshop team including members who are mentors, to look out for new members. Members coming to their first workshop are also invited to arrive 15 minutes prior to doors opening, to meet the team and settle in.

Workshops are only open to registered members, so they will need to join the Young Magicians Club too. Once the registration form has been completed online, you’ll immediately be able to register for the workshop.

There’s a £10 registration fee to attend a workshop in person. You can join free of charge on Zoom (find the link on the event page once you’re signed in to the members’ area).

We recommend you bring a packed lunch & drink (no chewing gum & no nuts), notebook & pen and a pack of cards.
